Bayview lies on the north edge of the distillery village of Lagavulin, three miles from the southern ferry terminal village of Port Ellen and thirteen miles from the island's capital of Bowmore. The house has three tastefully furnished bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds, while upstairs there is one room with two single beds and a third room with a double bed making the house suitable for up to six guests.

The bright lounge/dining area boasts an open fire, plenty of sumptuous seating, teletext TV, video recorder, CD player and radio. In the well-appointed kitchen area you will find an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, deep fryer, food processor and many other electric gadgets that the modern day cook looks for. The main bathroom hosts a WC, bath, shower, and wash-hand basin. In the annexe within the rear garden, we have installed a washing machine and separate tumble dryer to take care of all your laundry woes. In line with our environmental ethos, we offer guests the opportunity to dry their laundry on the outside washing line and appreciate the freshness that only breeze blown clothes can provide. Central heating radiators are heated by the solid fuel fire in the lounge (fuel is provided) or can be heated through electric immersion heater; this keeps the house cosy and each room has separate radiator thermostats to control room temperature.
