Machair, pronounced macher, meaning sandy grassland, is a comfortable conversion of the building which housed the farm’s Granary.
Machair cottage has a beautiful kitchen facing east, with patio doors opening onto its own secluded area within the large farmhouse gardens. It has a spacious sitting room, with views north on to the miles of beach, and a sun lounge area to the south. The room also features the building’s original fire place, complete with massive lintel stone. Machair has two bedrooms, one ensuite. It has a separate bathroom.
