Eat in the restraunt 27th april Lorna and staff were great we had pork and sirlon steak for our main courses the steak was more like a slice of beef ham and the pork was under cooked ask for pint of guiness which was not good paid a lot of money for poor food lochside hotel wins hands down as of last year

Spent 2 nights there in late June, 2008. Room and bath were very good.
Bar selection was outstanding...actually have a menu of the various
whiskies they have available...excellent idea. I would definitely go back !

We have choosen Bridgend Hotel on internet and went there last year in August for a week. It is a lovely place, well situated to visit all the Island.
People are very kind and we enjoy our large room and the finest restaurant. We also discovered a lot of single malt whiskies in the bar.
We came from South of France and enjoy really this typical hotel with beautiful garden.
We were warmly welcomed and if we have the chance to go back on Islay one day, we shall return to Bridgend Hotel.
