I have stayed at The Dairy three times now, and never tire of the warm welcome...fantastic chocolate cake!...and peaceful location. My children loved every minute, getting up earlier and earlier every morning...just to see who could spot who and what on the farm...?? We seemed to be very lucky with the weather too, and found everything we needed within walking distance...and the local beach was beautiful and surprisingly quiet...until we arrived anyway! I can thoroughly recommend Cladville as a safe, and inviting place to stay with your family. X

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June and had a wonderful time. The location is fabulous -- 500 acres of lush fields with sheep and cows (plus a few chickens and three dogs) on the Atlantic coast. The views, including Ireland, never get old. You can go for long walks from here, up (or around) Ben Cladville to coves and beaches along the coast. The hosts are gracious and welcoming, providing warm and comfortable accommodations that make the traveler feel at home. Morning birdsong will greet you when you awake in the morning. The village of Portnahaven is down the road, where you can get a good meal at the pub and watch seals sunning themselves on the rocks in the harbor. Lovely.
