The house was built in the early 1800s, and has been extended over the years. In bygone days, Dunlossit Estate used it to house their factor up until the 1970s

Set within its own secluded one and a half acre garden, it is just two and a half miles from Port Askaig ferry terminal. Centrally heated throughout with two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and shared bathroom. Each room has its own wash-hand basin and hospitality tray.

There is a sunroom on the ground floor that leads out into the garden. This sunroom has a TV and tea/coffee making facilites for the sole use of guests. You are very welcome to borrow any of the books in the hallway that include those of Islay/Scottish interest. Free internet access is also available.

Visitors have their own access to the house and garden and are welcome to come and go as they please.

I try to ensure that the produce for breakfast comes from local sources. I make my own bread, marmalade and jam

There is ample space for parking and storage facilities for bikes, fishing rods, wellies etc.
